Hatch
Managing project costs
profitably worldwide

The challenge
Hatch had been using an accounts payable automation solution for several years. However, for incoming invoices that involved multiple business units and required the approval of multiple people and departments, efficiency fell short of expectations and needed to be improved. In addition, the data from the Concur travel expense platform was to be automatically taken into account. The aim was to provide project managers with as accurate an overview as possible of the complete cost status at all times.
Our services
- Significantly shorten invoice processing times
- Changing the approval workflow
- Posting invoices against project items so that project-related costs can be controlled
- Check and approve all invoice items simultaneously, even if several business units are involved
- Forwarding the costs recorded in Concur directly to the project-related accounting in SAP
- Automatically import the data into the Process Director to further increase transparency
Result: cost transparency faster than ever
Everything now runs faster at Hatch. The processing times for incoming invoices have been greatly reduced, flexibility in payment processing has been increased and the use of cash discounts has been improved. At the same time, cost transparency is finally guaranteed for all projects, which makes profitable project management much easier. With the help of SAP reports, project managers now have a consolidated view of all project costs at their fingertips at all times.

Transparency throughout the entire purchase-to-pay process
Thales already had a digital solution for the accounts payable department. The greatest potential for efficiency lies in automating the entire purchase-to-pay (P2P) process and significantly increasing the degree of automation of all sub-processes.
